Finding simple and familiar U words for Preschoolers and kindergartners is a challenge, but there are a few that are useful and they are good to have on hand for letter recognition activities, as well as, alphabet awareness.

Here are a some common items that start with U that kindergarteners and preschoolers should, more than likely, be able to connect with. (Note: The sentences are given for context.)
