Discover the Artza Box Subscription Box: Genesis Edition Review
As a mom and educator, I was thrilled when I was asked to review the Artza Subscription Box: Genesis edition. This thoughtfully assembled box promises to take subscribers on a journey through the Holy Land, offering a blend of artisan products and samples of local cuisine. Let’s jump in and I’ll show you what came in this edition and whether it lived up to its promise.
The Artza Box: What is it?
The Artza Box is a unique subscription box that features handcrafted arts, craft kits, cuisine, and customs straight to your door. Each box is thoughtfully designed to highlight the traditions and diversity of Israeli culture. The subscription also comes with a guide booklet that highlights the box’s content as well as the locations and stories of the local artisans.

Unboxing the Artza Genesis Box
The packaging of the Genesis box was beautiful, and every item was carefully packaged. We enjoyed pulling out and carefully unwrapping each item, then reading the cultural guide booklet about where it came from and who made it. Here is what was in our Genesis edition Artza box:
- Hand-painted creation Candle Holder Set
- This candle holder was so unique! I love the intricately painted design with the scripture around the edge. The holder itself is made from metal and has a solid base. (It doesn’t come with the candles, but two standard tapers fit perfectly in this holder.)
- Creation Serving Tray
- This metal tray features the seven days of creation with bright colors that depict the Genesis account of “in the beginning.” It is definitely a conversation piece that can be used to serve food or display items.
- Paper Artwork
- This artist made a map of Isreal surrounded by an Olive tree with a prayer of blessing in the middle. The piece of art is unique and symbolic and is an obvious reflection of this artist’s love for her country.
- Cultural Cuisine
- The food was definitely our kids’ favorite thing to try. This box included Dekarina Chocolate, Halva Peanuts, and Challah Bread Topping Mixture. These are items that we wouldn’t ordinarily try, so it was a treat to experience each of these with our family.
- Genesis Journal
- The Genesis journal was probably my favorite item in the box. Its simple yet elegant design features scripture, Hebrew definitions, and space for writing prayers and meditations.

Is Artza Subscription Box: Genesis Worth It?
The Artza Genesis Box was a delight to open and experience. Here are some of my concluding thoughts on this subscription box:
- Quality: Every item in the box was high-quality. It was obvious that a lot of care went into curating these items.
- Educational Element: Opening the box gave a sense of cultural immersion. I really appreciated the guide booklet that came with the box. It added an extra layer of meaning to the experience and helped us to understand the history and people behind the items.
- Would Make a Great Gift: This would make a great gift for anyone who enjoys exploring culture or has a fascination with the Holy Land. (It would also make a nice homeschool history supplement.)
- Price Point: The subscription is a bit of an investment, so it may not be for everyone. However, considering the quality and uniqueness of the items, it’s worth the price if you’re someone who enjoys and values cultural discoveries and artisanal products.
- Shipping: The shipping was quick and efficient for us, but I would check your location and time-shipping estimations before I signed up.
