Time to switch out the Summer Busy Book for the Autumn Themed Busy book! More patterns, counting, numbers, spatial reasoning, and building of fine motor skills.
Cozy, warm colors, changing leaves, and adorable fall creatures. I’m in my creative happy place.
Not only that, my kids really seem to enjoy this activity. We pull them out almost daily.
My preschooler and kindergartener like to work on these in the morning while I am doing our read alouds for the day.
How to Assemble the Fall Busy Book:
This did take a little prep work up front, but the result was definitely worth it! (I took mine to a local print shop and had it bound.)
Here are the materials I used and how I put it together.
- Purchase, download, and print the ‘Printable Fall Busy Book‘
- Laminate the pages
- Cut the pieces from the “cut” pages
- Velcro the cut pieces to the coordinating page using clear velcro
- Insert the pages into a small, half page binder OR have it bound.
The content is geared toward my preschool and kindergarten age kids. This book focuses on basic math and problem solving.
