Hello Bible Box
I have lost the wonder of checking the mail. Too many bills, fliers, and coupons to local pizza joints have clouded the thrill. It’s not to say all is lost, because the quiet walk across the driveway is truly quite refreshing. ?
My kids however, have only experienced the magic from that grey box out by the road. Colorful magazines with their names inscribed on the back cover, cards from grandma, and boxes filled with new things to look at.
I love their sweet curiosity and the look of excitement when ‘fun mail’ arrives. Therefore, when grandma’s asks for gift ideas, I like to suggest subscriptions.
There are some awesome options, and it’s a gift that will keep on giving.
Our kids are little and are loving the Ranger Rick Jr. as well as, Club House Jr. magazine. The Little Passports is really cool and another one I just learned about is the Hello Bible Box…
Let me tell you about it…
Simone (one of the creators) contacted me a while ago and asked if I’d like to try a sample box in exchange for a review for my readers. It sounded like a fun opportunity, so I agreed.
Hello Bible Box Arrives
Another great reaction to an unidentified box took place. ? We all crowded around and peered into the box.
The Bible story was of Joseph. And the first glances of bright colored stickers, craft supplies, and a new book was a welcomed thrill for an otherwise ordinary afternoon.
Upon further discovery the box included:
- An Arch book about Joseph
- A detailed lesson plan including questions, games, crafts, and follow up
- Craft supplies for each craft in the plans
- Detailed instructions for each crafts
- Cumulative Bible story map
With no prep on my part, we read the story then walked through the coordinating crafts together.
What We Thought
As Christian parents we are always looking for ways to teach our kids the Bible. This was an engaging way to incorporate the Bible with out the extra prep on my part.
It had a Sunday-School feel to the content and flow, using various activities to teach the story in a way that would be interesting to kids.
This could be a used for homeschool or simply a great way to teach the Bible throughout the year in your home.

This looks like a wonderful and fun-filled box Jessica! It is good that it is interesting for the kids . Sometimes it is hard to keep their attention focused. Thank you for sharing hugs Terri ?
Yay!The comments are working again.? Yeah, I thought this was a pretty neat idea to share the Bible with kids, because you’re right, their attention can be short.
Yay! Happy Friday Jessica!

Exactly! I was pretty impressed too. 🙂
How cool! Once Noah’s a little older, I’ll have to try it out.
