Time to finish off the free letter worksheet series! Today, I’m the last three letters with these X, Y, and Z worksheet packs. You can print these alphabet practice pages off and use them at home with your preschooler or kindergartener for building letter recognition, handwriting, and phonetic skills.

In each letter pack there are eight worksheets. Each of these worksheets offers practice for the uppercase and lowercase letters while building basic handwriting, vocabulary, fine motor skills, and phonetic awareness.
1. Letter X, Y, Z Worksheets for Preschool
The first letter worksheets are geared towards preschoolers. They feature a picture of an item that starts with the focus letter, followed by a large upper and lowercase letter to color, and a word to practice tracing.

2. Uppercase and Lowercase Letter X,Y, Z Worksheets
The next type of worksheet helps kids to distinguish between the upper and lowercase letters by using prewriting, letter formation, beginning sounds, vocabulary words, and letter differentiation skills.
3. Color the Objects – Beginning Sounds Worksheet
Now for practice with identifying words that begin with letters X, Y, and Z. This page helps to build sound differentiation between letters in the alphabet.
4. X, Y, and Z Handwriting Pages
The next pages that teaches how to correctly write the letters X,Y, and Z.
Note: Before you begin each page, make sure you instruct your kids to follow the stroke marks and tracing lines to learn how to write the letters correctly.
5. Drawing Worksheet for Letters X, Y, and Z
For this next free letter printable, have your students read the given word, trace it, then draw a picture that corresponds with the word. (Note: you might need to help read the word to the child, depending on their level.)

And finally, the last letter worksheets in these packs are a list of common words that your kids can read, trace, and practice. Have your kids read each word out loud then trace it using their best handwriting.
